As Wales took on England in the Six-Nations decider at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday the home team had an unusual supporter more than a hundred miles away in Cardigan.
As excitement mounted locally in the run-up to the big game enthusiasts attired the bronze otter statue near the old road bridge over the River Teifi in a Welsh jersey and cap.
It proved a lucky omen as Wales romped to a 30-3 victory.
