A teenager has admitted assaulting a man in Cardigan and failing to surrender to bail but denied causing criminal damage.
At Ceredigion Magistrates Court 19-year-old Jason Mark Ronnie Smith, c/o Gennau’r Glyn, Beulah, who was represented by Alan Lewis, pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting Christopher Clarke by beating on October 20 last year.
He further admitted failing to turn up at Ceredigion Magistrates Court in answer to his bail on January 2 this year.
After he pleaded not guilty to causing damage to a window pane belonging to Home and Propert Services on October 20 the matter was adjourned for trial on April 15 and the defendant given unconditional bail
