Commissioner reveals chief candidates

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys has revealed the candidates in the running for the post of Chief Constable with Dyfed-Powys Police.

Commissioner Christopher Salmon has received applications for the role from: Jackie Roberts, currently Temporary Chief Constable, Dyfed-Powys Police; Nick Ingram, currently Deputy Chief Constable, Dyfed-Powys Police and Simon Prince, currently Assistant Chief Constable with Gwent Police.

Commissioner Salmon, who will be the first Commissioner to appoint a Chief Constable in Wales, since elections in November, last year, said: “I am delighted that we have received applicants from three quality candidates."
