Farmer charged

A local farmer has been accused of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Proceeding were brought against 52-year-old David Morris Davies, of Hafod Farm, Ferwig, who was alleged to have been in charge of a border collie/sheepdog on an unclassified road near his farm on July 24 last year when the dog was alleged to have injured Elizabeth Anne Busby and William Edward Sample.

At Ceredigion Magistrates Court last week the case was adjourned for another hearing.
