A man died suddenly at the Emlyn Arms on Sunday afternoon.
Police confirmed that emergency services were called to the Newcastle Emlyn hotel at 12.40pm following a report of a sudden death. The incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
The Tivy-Side understands that the man was aged 64, and staff attempted to resuscitate him after he was found in the sauna.
The man is not believed to be local.
