Shoplifter sentenced

A 38-year-old woman from Penparc has appeared in court and admitted a shoplifting offence at a Cardigan pharmacy.

Ashley Jane Allen, of 11 Heol Y Felin, Penparc, who was represented by Alan Lewis, pleaded guilty to theft of a Beyonce perfume gift set to the value of £19.95 at Caerleon Pharmacy in Pendre on December 11.

After Mr. Lewis said his client was extremely remorseful she was given a conditional discharge for six months, ordered to pay £85 court costs, £15 victim surcharge and £19.95 compensation to the pharmacy.
