Home owner injured tackling fire

A man was treated by paramedics after burning his hands while attempting to tackle a fire at his home on Saturday.

Cardigan fire crew were called to a chimney fire at Bryn Glas, Aberporth, on Saturday morning, and used ladders, a hose-reel jet, rods and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident.

The owner of the property was treated by paramedics after trying to put out the fire himself.
