PETER Healey, 60, who lives in Neath, is making an appeal for his adopted sister to make contact.

His mother, Mona Pugh Evans, became pregnant at a young age and was sent to stay with an aunt in Cardigan, where the baby girl was put up for adoption. Peter believes that her name is Delyth, and that she would be in her sixties.

Although his sister made contact with their mother, Peter never met his sister. His mother has since died and any information available on Delyth was lost.

Peter said: "I have been searching for ten years, and the adoption register cannot issue an address to me. I thought I may as well try to make contact through the local paper, I've got nothing to lose".

If Delyth, or anyone with information would like to get in touch with Peter please contact 01792 424168
