The plaudits for Clare Teal have been incessant. Michael Parkinson declared her album to be "the best record I've heard from an English artist since ... well, I can't remember when." 'The Daily Mail' described it as "Fabulous" and the 'Daily Telegraph 'advised "In this overcrowded field, Clare Teal deserves special attention."

From presenting her weekly Radio 2 shows, to supporting Liza Minnelli, to performing at the BBC Proms, Clare Teal can do it all – which is how her concerts can cover such a huge spectrum of sounds and genres so wonderfully. And although rooted in the jazz traditions of the 1930’s and 40’s, the main focus of her 2012 show is on Clare’s interpretations and delivery of some of the greatest songs British songs of the last 100 years. From Ivor Novello and Noel Coward to Annie Lennox and Snow Patrol, the show wends its way through 100 years of pure class Yorkshire born Clare Teal is one of the most successful female British jazz singers in decades with a string of albums behind her, including the UK top 20 hit ‘Don't Talk’. Clare won British Jazz Singer of the year in both 2005 and 2007, and BBC Jazz Singer of the Year 2006.

Alongside her music, Clare has a successful career in broadcasting, presenting Clare Teal, Sunday night at 10pm and Big Band Special, Monday night at 11pm for Radio 2. She also contributes a weekly column to her beloved Yorkshire Post.
