Rhosygilwen have something for all the family to do on Easter Day.
The Easter Book Fair is a celebration of Spring and the Easter festival, a time to enjoy all the things mythical and mystical in the beautiful grounds of Rhosygilwen, which has just been blest with a gorgeous outburst of colour.
The event promises omething for everyone: Listen to local authors and their tales of the mysteries of the Preselis mythilogical, fantastical and factual. Learn about the secrets of our ancient standing stones by eminent astro-archeologist Robin Heath. Hear the story of the battle of our preslis from journalist author Hafin Wyn.
For those fascinated by other peoples’ reading matter, take part in the Rhosygilwen book share. Simply bring one book that you have treasured and are ready to pass on for someone else to enjoy – then choose one that someone else has chosen to share.
For children - a choice of traditional celtic craft activities, readings and stories from local children’s authors and of course an easter egg hunt amongst the colourful spring flowers in the grounds of Rhosygilwen.
The renowned kitchen will be offering their tasty Easter culinary fair. Chat with friends over coffee and cake. Treat yourself to a delicious lunch and indulge in afternoon tea.
