A wonderful collection of paintings capturing the wildness of the Pembrokeshire coast and its inhabitants. He began exhibiting his work with the Society of Wildlife Artists' (SWLA) whilst at art college in Wales. He has since become a full member of the SWLA and continues to exhibit in their annual exhibition held in the Mall Galleries, London. A keen ornithologist, Alastair lives in South West Wales, where he frequents the cliffs in search of peregrines and other wildlife of interest. “Alastair Proud is one of those painters with the skill to achieve entirely correct detail without inhibiting the life of a subject.” * Keith Shackleton PP RSMA, PP SWLA The Exhibition runs for the whole of September and is also available to view online at www.art2by.com
