IT’S been described as ‘Downton Abbey with gardening tips’ - Old Herbaceous is a humorous love story of a single-minded yet gentle man with a passion for plants.
The play, at the Torch Theatre, keeps you engrossed, amused and emotionally engaged from start to finish, with Giles Shenton living the part of the legendary head gardener, Herbert Pinnegar.
Due to the evening performance having nearly sold out - a 2.30pm matinee performance has now been added.
Old Herbaceous is due at the Torch Theatre on Wednesday July 4.
