THEATR Mwldan Film Society’s latest offering is a contender for feel-good film of the year with A Man Called Ove.

A year after losing his wife to cancer, middle-aged curmudgeon Ove (Rolf Lassgård) plans to end it all — an objective frustrated by the inconvenience of neighbours and reminiscences about the woman who made life worth living.

This 2015 Swedish comedy drama by Hannes Holm tells of unexpected friendship, love and the importance of surrounding yourself with the proper tools and is a strong contender for the feel-good film of the year.

This Theatr Mwldan Film Society choice carries a 15 certificate and will be screening on Sunday, October 8 at 5.45pm.
