TWO actors. Too many characters. One big ego. They all go in to make up The Six Wives of Henry VIII.

Howard Coggins looks like Henry VIII. There’s no escaping that. Stu McLoughlin doesn’t really look like any of the wives but he’s going to give it a go.

Living Spit’s irreverent take on this well-known historical saga comes to Cardigan’s Theatr Mwldan on October 3 at 7.30pm and is suitable for ages 12-plus.

The Six Wives of Henry VIII was an undisputed hit at the Bristol Old Vic, and with live original music, embroidery, barbie dolls, silly songs and historical hysteria, this promises to be an ill-researched lesson in cross-dressing Tudor history that you’ll never forget.

Tickets to see The Six Wives of Henry VIII are £12 (£10) and are available to book from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, online at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the new MWLDAN app.
