WELSH singer Betsy will play a one-off gig at Newport Memorial Hall on Friday, May 12.
Born in Pembrokeshire, Betsy studied fashion in London before landing an internship with luxury fashion brand Balenciaga.
But her underlying passion for music could not be silenced, and in the last two years has performed a session for Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, and her YouTube channel has been watched by more than 1million people.
With influences including Annie Lennox, Aretha Franklin and Candi Staton, Betsy's sound is soulful and full of heart.
"I love the juxtaposition of sad, melancholic vocals over big beats. Something that sounds up and euphoric but has a heart to it," she said.
She will perform five gigs on this latest tour, three of which will be in Wales.
Tickets are £7, and can be purchased here.
