APPEARING at Burnett's Hill Chapel, Martletwy on Tuesday, August 25, will be Gordie MacKeeman and His Rhythm Boys.
Hailing from Prince Edward Island on Canada's East Coast, this multi-award-winning band serve up an engaging - sometimes jaw-dropping - live show with flavours of traditional bluegrass and roots music bolstered by their stunning musicianship.
The band features Gordie MacKeeman (fiddle, feet, and vocals), Mark Geddes (bass, drums, percussion, mandolin, and banjo), Thomas Webb (vocals, banjo, guitar, pedal steel guitar, and bass) and Peter Cann (vocals and guitar).
The band won the Galaxie Supernova Award at the 2012 Ottawa Folk Festival for their outstanding high-energy performance, and The Rhythm Boys have also performed at the Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD, Celtic Connections, and to enthusiastic audiences around the world.
The Burnett's Hill concert is the only Welsh date on their current European tour.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Main Street Music in Pembroke.
