Kick-starting the summer season of Jazz is the feel-good, diverse jazz music from Afternoon in Paris.

This Swansea based band is a definite highlight of the summer, taking place on Wednesday, June 17 in The Dingle Club, Narberth.

Afternoon in Paris performs gypsy-swing jazz and latin, all based on the style of Hot Club of France.

Having collectively worked with a range of distinguished artists including Terry Hall, Cerys Matthews, Shakin’ Stevens and Simon Rattle, the band incorporate a hybrid of musical genres and styles into their work from rock, pop, folk and classical.

Strongly influenced by great artists Django Reinhardt and Benny Goodman among others, a myriad of other influences also flavour the mix.

Extremely experienced performers, Afternoon in Paris have made numerous live television appearances and radio broadcasts, alongside making recordings.

Together they've performed extensively at festivals, exhibitions, schools (giving classes as well as performances), pubs and jazz clubs.

Made up of members Jeremy Young- (solo/rhythm guitar (acoustic and electric), Andy King - rhythm guitar (acoustic and electric vocals), Susanna Warren – (clarinet/bass clarinet/lead vocals), Andy 'Wal' Coughlan – (double bass/electric bass/vocals), an Afternoon in Paris is proven to bring audiences to their feet.

The band will be performing at The Dingle in Narberth. Enjoy a nice pint of ale, delicious pizza and listen to the fabulous sounds of Afternoon in Paris.
