This year Newport Music Society will be holding an Annual General Meeting with a difference.
The Meeting is to be held on Sunday, March 8, starting at 3.30 pm at Ebenezer Chapel, Lower St Mary Street, Newport. All are welcome and the meeting will be followed by “An afternoon with Edith Piaf” – to be performed by Gwenno Dafydd, accompanied by Sue Howley (piano).
Both members and non-members will be welcome. Admission charge for the recital is, as usual, £8 (members £6). This recital is grant aided and the Society is grateful to the Noson Allan/Night Out scheme for its support.
