Bex Marshall returns to The Cellar Bar in Quay Street on Friday, March 6, after wowing the venue with her explosive blues rock slide guitar in June last year.

Then she was part of the San Francisco Nights show delivering a fabulous portrayal of the music of Janis Joplin alongside Janis' guitarist Sam Andrew who sadly died earlier this month.

With this solo show Bex is sure to include her ragtime roots pickin' which is shot through with touches of bluegrass.

There is a moonshine at midnight delivery to her back porch vocals and her lyrics are reflections of life and love with touches of humour, entwined with Americana roots.

Bex pushes the boundaries of blues music from within this musical melting pot and is a veritable tornado of a performer.

Her last release ‘Kitchen Table’ received stunning reviews world wide and led to stand out sessions for Paul Jones and Bob Harris' BBC radio shows.

In just under three years she has toured the USA three times and undertaken extensive tours of Australia, UK and Europe.

Tickets £10 from the venue or visit www.castlecafeandcellarbar.com.
