Writer Liz Whittaker invites readers, friends and neighbours to afternoon tea and cakes, and the launch of her latest novel, ‘The White Tower’, at Small World Theatre on Saturday, January 31, 3pm.

There will be music, storytelling, and readings taken from the book which features a visionary caught in the time when paganism and Christianity are fighting for the soul of Wales. Such people were seen as evil by some, and valued highly by others, so the magic of place and the wonder of divination as practised by the powerful Druids, lie at the heart of the story.

First conceived as a play nearly 40 years ago The White Tower comes straight out of personal experience.

Llanerch Press, who are publishing the book, will be attending, and are encouraging readers to take advantage of a discount of £2 by pre-ordering before the day of the launch, at £10 from Bookends Bookshop, Unit 7, The Arcade, Cardigan.
