Local writer and poet Jackie Biggs has won herself a global audience for her on-line blog 'A Writer's Life'.
Jackie, who lives in Betws Ifan, started the blog in July 2012. It has received 18,000 hits from interested readers across the world including the USA and Thailand.
Her musings include pieces on local energy group Awel Deg plus community social enterprise organisation 4CG.
The top posting was a piece on love which attracted 4,000 viewings.
Jackie is chair of the poetry organisation PENfro and is an active member of Cellar Bards in Cardigan's Cellar Bar. She has read her poetry at various festivals including Dinefwr plus Dylan Thomas's Boathouse.
She is now working on a collection of poetry which will be published next autumn.
