For the past few weeks some 75 singers from a wide area have been rehearsing for a performance of Fauré’s ‘Requiem’.
This will take place on Sunday November 30 at 7pm in Capel Mair Chapel, Cardigan. Entrance is £5 at the door, with all proceeds going to Wales Air Ambulance.
The organist will be Iestyn Evans, London, but Boncath born, Sioned Llewelyn, Efailwen and Kees Huysmans, Lampeter. The performance will be conducted by Margaret Daniel.
There will also be items by the St Mary’s Singers, Cardigan conducted by Meic Morgan and Bro Nest Ladies’ choir.
All are welcome to join us to hear this wonderful piece of music.
