The Groucho Club offer an exciting blend of melody, rhythm and improvisation in this month’s Span Jazz on Wednesday 19 November.
Formed in 2009 by guitarist Wynn Phillips, the band have gone from strength to strength on the South Wales jazz circuit ever since. Focused on creating high energy jazz music, this summer they blew the roof off several festivals including Brecon and Llandeilo.
The Groucho Club are a dynamic 5 piece band that focuses on creating high energy jazz music. Influenced by the likes of John Schofield and Weather Report, the Groucho Club’s unique and exciting sound is not to be missed.
