Be transported by the airs and dance melodies of Wales and the Celtic world to the ragas and rhythms of India! Join the audience at Small World Theatre on Saturday 22 November, 8pm for a musical adventure with collaborators and extraordinary musicians, Rajesh David and Pete Stacey, joined by guitar virtuoso, Dylan Fowler.

Rajesh’s voice is soft yet powerful ‘sweet as honey and full of devotion’. Born in Mumbai, Rajesh is a wonderfully lyrical singer with a hugely fertile musical imagination trained in Indian classical music. Saxophonist, Pete Stacey, has collaborated with a number of leading Indian classical musicians including the legendary flautist, Hariprasad Chaurasia, (for whom he composed an award-nominated concerto) and the eminent sitarist, Nishat Khan (for whom he developed, arranged and orchestrated a concerto which received its premiere last year in the Proms). Dylan Fowler has worked extensively in the fields of jazz, folk and world music and has become an international soloist on his main instrument, guitar.

‘This is a collaboration that rejoices in the richness of diversity and the power of two rich cultures’ supported by Arts Council Wales. Please book £10 tickets soon through smallworld.org.uk, 01239 615 952.
