Come and join the cast of Opera Teifi on their trip to Hareford Hall in Hampshire for a fun- packed family show as they present their latest production 'Me and My Girl'. The show is packed with well-known numbers such as 'Leaning on a Lamppost' 'The Lambeth Walk' and 'The Sun Has Got His Hat On' and promises to be an entertaining evening for all.

Written by Rose and Furber with music by Noel Gay, the show was re written in the 80s by Stephen Fry. The award-winning show, made famous in 1985 with Robert Lindsay and Emma Thompson as the stars, tells the story of an aristocratic family seeking the legitimate heir to the title of Earl of Hareford. The late 13th earl of Hareford had a secret past, which becomes apparent to the family when they meet his heir, Bill.

Cockney Bill must satisfy the conditions of the will by proving he is fit and proper to assume the position of the 14th Earl of Hareford. This presents the family with the challenge of making a fine English gentleman of this rough and crude cockney chap.

With useless advice from the family solicitor, complications from the social climbing daughter of the duchess and uproar from the arrival of Bill's true love Sally and their cockney pals can life ever return to normal for the family at Hareford?
