Feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny, Iranian comedian Shappi Khorsandi will be bringing her latest tour to The Queens Hall on Thursday 6 November.

One of the hottest comedy prospects in the country, Shappi Khorsandi has been quoted as 'Britain’s best young female comic by a yardstick'. Reflecting on the good things, her latest tour Because I’m Shappi celebrates her haphazard, zigzag towards her dreams.

Seen on Live at the Apollo, Michael Mcintyres Comedy Roadshow and Channel 4’s massive fundraiser The Comedy Gala, Shappi Khorsandi is also a best-selling author, television and radio regular.

Having established herself as one of Britain’s high-profile female comics, she was nominated for the prestigious British Comedy Awards in the Best Female Comic category, up against fellow comics such as Jo Brand and Sarah Millican.

The daughter of an exiled writer and comic from Iran, comedy is a family business for Shappi. She has previously performed in a seven week sell-out run with her brother in Los Angeles, as well as supporting her father on previous shows.
