Span Arts presents its monthly dose of laughter with another great Comedy Club line-up. Comedians Andre Vincent, Sofie Hagen and Ray Bradshaw will be performing at the Queens Hall, Narberth on October 9.

Andre Vincent is no stranger to making people laugh, beginning work in circuses and theatre festivals as a clown.

Andre Vincent has appeared in nine sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, numerous radio shows, the presenter of two award-nominated television programmes, as well as an appearance as himself in the children’s drama Byker Grove.

A gifted performer, the comedian often incorporates his life experiences into his material, particularly his experiences with cancer and diabetes. Always received well by his audiences, it is Andre Vincent’s unique spin on such topics that separate him from his competitors. His material was also later included in the award-winning BBC TV show ‘Hurrah for cancer’, making his upcoming performance all the more exciting.

Taking charge of the stage, the second act of the evening is Sofie Hagen. Having demanded attention from audiences across the UK in the last few months, Time Out has declared her as ‘One to Watch’. Continuing the praise, Chortle declared Sofie Hagen someone who ‘is destined to make a name for herself’, stating that her facial expressions, knowing nods, smiles and timing is ‘spot-on’.

Glaswegian Ray Bradshaw, a two time finalist in Scottish comedian of the year, is compere for the evening. The comedian has travelled the length and breadth of the country with his witty humour. This natural born comedian is ready to tell his jokes to anybody that will listen.

The perfect way to lead into the weekend, Comedy Club offers an opportunity to laugh and socialise, eat and drink. Comedy Club is held every third Thursday of the month at Span Arts, aiming to bring people together within a sociable and friendly atmosphere.
