Fishguard’s community venue Theatr Gwaun is delighted to be hosting An Evening With Ann Widdecombe, on September 11, 8pm.

Ann has delighted audiences across the land with her witty and controversial speeches, and is no less compelling on the dance floor with her professional dance partner Anton du Beke proving that personality and panache are as important as fancy footwork in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Her foray into the world of ballroom dancing is a world away from her political career, which has spanned more than more than three decades, including time as a minister under John Major's government and spells on the front bench.

In this unmissable evening Ann will share anecdotes from her life in the limelight and take questions from the audience. How often can you hear a former Shadow Home Secretary revealing what life is really like at the centre of British politics? She had a formidable reputation in parliament and remains relentlessly outspoken. However, live on stage Ann is engaging, entertaining and refreshingly down to earth. An unmissable evening, which definitely has ‘something of the night’ about it. .
