Art lovers still have time to visit artists’ open studios before the Ceredigion Art Trail ends on 31st August.

Throughout August 49 artists including landscape painter Andrew Francis at Newcastle Emlyn, Roadscapes at Rhydlewis and sculptors Matthew Douglas, Wendy Earle and Cassie Gray near Landysul, have opened their studios to the public.

“It gives people a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes in an artist’s studio,” said Wendy Earle who shares her studio with fellow-sculptor Cassie Gray. “You can ask questions about how the work is done and give your opinion.”

“The Trail gives local artists a chance to demonstrate the strength and breadth of work produced in Ceredigion,” added Cassie Gray. “I’ve been delighted that visitors to the studio have been really interested in our work. They have usually stayed for an hour or two.”

There are also free art exhibitions all over Ceredigion.
