Everyone is welcome to the premiere of an insightful and touching shadow puppet performance, the result of Small World Theatre delivering an intergenerational drama project in Cardigan with the aim of improving communication, mutual understanding and respect between the generations.

Over the past few weeks this outstanding group made up of year 7 pupils at Cardigan Secondary School, volunteers and a creative group of older people living in the extra care housing complex, Maes Mwldan, have inspired one another. The two groups wrote poetry (70 year 7 pupils) and short stories about each other’s generation and a small group met regularly at Small World Theatre and Maes Mwldan to develop an intergenerational play and make some beautiful shadow puppets.

Small World Theatre and the intergenerational participants invite you to the performances at Small World Theatre on 14th July at 2.30pm and Maes Mwldan 15th July at 3.30pm. Entrance is free.
