Llechryd’s village Midsummer Party starts this week with a quiz evening at the Carpenters’ Arms. Starting at 7.30 pm on Wednesday, June 4th, in addition to the challenge of three rounds of general knowledge questions in a friendly atmosphere, the event will include a chance to buy entries for the Duck Race which will be held on the River Teifi on June 29th. The main festivities will be at the Coracle Hall and playing field on Saturday, June 28th and will include entertainment, competitions and games for all ages.
This is the third annual celebration in Llechryd and could be the best yet. The organisers would like to thank all the sponsors, who include Llangoedmor Community Council and local businesses.
