From the founders of Pembrokeshire’s notoriously popular Aquarian Party comes the Gemini Party! Bristol favourites Dub Mafia are back at the Queens Hall Narberth, with support from local DJs on May 24.

After the long running success of the Aquarian Party, Span Arts decided it was time for a mid-year sister show, and who better to kick it off than Dub Mafia? After forming four years ago, they’ve become a firm festival favourite, and one of the most popular dance acts in the UK and beyond.

Mixing drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat, world music, and with a strict policy of ‘no backing tracks’, the band have quickly gained thousands of followers, receiving rave reviews wherever they play. When playing on Glastonbury’s BBC Introducing Stage, chairs and tables were pushed back to accommodate the bass-hungry fans.

Fronted by singer Eva Lazarus, the band have won hundreds of thousands of fans over the last year, including show-stealing performances on the main stage at Outlook in Croatia (Europe’s biggest drum and bass music festival). Having recently released their debut album Sirens, there’s sure to be lots of new material showcased from the band.

The night wouldn’t be complete without a DJ set from Aquarian Party founder Shanna, and other local DJs.

The Aquarian Party was originally a celebration of Shanna’s birthday, but with so much popularity and success it soon became one of the biggest events in the local party calendar.

With dancing, big speakers and amazing décor, this is set to be the party to kick off the summer. Tickets are available online at span-arts.org.uk or from the box office on 01834 869323.
