Following the enormous success of The People’s Theatre Company’s tour of “There Was an Old lady Who Swallowed a Fly,” the company has followed up with a second hugely entertaining nursery rhyme adventure based on the much loved title “Old MacDonald had A Farm.”
They will be at Theatr Mwldan on Wednesday , April 16 at 2pm, perfect Easter holiday fun for the little ones!
The company is best known for presenting original shows such as “How the Koala Learnt to Hug” and “The Elephant Bridesmaid” but Artistic Director Steven Lee says that producing this childhood classic was not so much of a departure as you might think.
“Our show takes the very best elements of the well-known story and presents them in a new and exciting way so there is all the farmyard fun you would expect but also lots of our trademark humour, music and interaction.”
Interaction is at the forefront of this delightfully engaging production, as the audience buzzes with enthusiasm while helping Old MacDonald find his missing animals.
With beautiful puppets, great performances and a set with more than a few surprises this is first class theatre that will delight fans of The PTC’s work as much as those who love the original nursery rhyme.
“Old MacDonald Had A Farm” is listed as being suitable for ages 4+ but like all PTC shows this really is an experience that adults will love just as much as the little ones.
