Big screen gaming mayhem at Theatr Gwaun
12:49pm Thursday 27th March 2014 in What's on
In a first for the community-run Fishguard venue, Theatr Gwaun presents an all-day big screen gaming event on Thursday April 17.
The event promises favourite console games on a screen 20 feet wide, in high definition, with a huge sound system to back it up.
Organiser Paul Williams said : “We'll have a couple of consoles set up in the big screen room ready loaded up with something cool, so you don't have to bring anything, but feel free to bring along your own console and we'll have you playing against your mates in no time. Just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with details of what console you want to bring and the game you want to play. There'll also be a LAN set up downstairs for up to eight people."
He added: “The day's split into two halves, with the first bit from 11am to 4pm with games suitable for all ages. The second part will be from 7pm to 11pm and will be 18+ only, so anything goes on the game front. There will be a tuck shop all day and a bar in the evening, and entry is just £5 for daytime, £8 for the evening, and £10 for an all day pass.”
