ChainSka Brassika are coming to west Wales - a 9 piece ska-fuelled, energetic, reggae and dub band from South East London! Their lively old-school ska sound is combined with the deep skank of today’s bass culture and commands any crowd to get up and dance. Join them at Small World Theatre on Friday 14 March, 8pm.
ChainSka released their amazing new EP, ‘Unwind’ in December following a full UK tour, that took them to Bristol, Brighton, Leeds, Cornwall, London and more. So far they’ve shared stages with The Skatalites, Mad Professor, Musical Youth, Dawn Penn, Love Grocer, The Trojans, Rebelution, Dirty Dike & Jam Baxter and The Abyssinians and got knees up at Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown, Secret Garden and Bestival to name but a few.
‘ChainSka is one of the most impressive and promising upcoming acts in the reggae/ ska genre that I have seen or heard in while. Refreshingly unique and our audience loved them as much as we did.‘ The Skatalites
You'd be mad to miss them at Small World Theatre as they kick off an exciting new year with the gig of a lifetime pre their UK tour of the festivals this summer. Check out their website and get inspired chainskabrassika.com. If you buy tickets beforehand you’ll pay £6 via smallworld.org.uk - so don’t delay and book online! Otherwise tickets on the door on the night will be £8.
