The Cardigan Pensioners’ Choir is looking for new members to help celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
No auditions are required to join this friendly mixed choir, just an enjoyment of singing. Although mostly singing in Welsh, this need not deter English speakers as rehearsals cater for the needs of those for whom Welsh is not their first language and those who cannot read music.
Anyone who has watched the BBC series “The Choir” will understand the uplifting effects of singing as part of a choir and, in Margaret Daniels the Cardigan Pensioners’ Choir is fortunate to have a skilled choir leader who goes out of her way to support all comers in learning both words and music.
Anyone interested in joining can call 01239 613634 or 01239 810457 for further information, or just turn up at rehearsals on Monday evenings at 7pm, starting on March 3, in Cardigan Secondary School.
