Entering its 15th year, the party with heart, beats, MCs and legendary decor is the only way to smash into the new year, with Mr Benn & Eva Lazarus at the Queens Hall, this Friday 24 January.

Previously having featured legends like Dub Mafia, Dr Meaker and Laid Blak, this year Span Arts and Aquarian Party founder Shanna bring you some Boomtown legends from Bristol...

Mr Benn is an artist from Bristol who’s been praised by the biggest names in soundsystem music: including Dub Pistols’ Barry Ashworth, and Daddy G of the legendary Bristol trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack who called him “one of, if not the THE finest of the new breed of reggae producers from the UK.”

He recently released his debut album Shake A Leg, which was received with great admiration from all corners. Trap Magazine called it “a superbly well-rounded collection of music… from party reggae to driving roots tunes”.

Eva Lazarus will be providing her rude-gyal vocal power, not to mention her charismatic stage presence, for a night with the truly electric atmosphere that the Aquarian Party is renowned for. She’s been described as the Lauryn Hill of dub!

Supporting will be Pembrokeshire’s very own Slingshot who bring a melting pot of styles and huge energy. DJs featuring on the night are Shanna, Eugene and Maya Mitten, who are legends on the local party scene.

With the amazing high-octane décor created by Shanna herself, this is the only party of its kind on the horizon, and it would be foolish to miss it!

Tickets are cheaper in advance, and available from Span Arts on their website span-arts.org.uk.
