Cardigan singer/songwriter Rye Milligan will launch his debut album at Small World Theatre on January 10.

The launch is open to the public, doors open at 7.30, with a support act (tbc) starting at 8pm.

The album is being released on Rye’s friends self start record label, and is funded independently.

Over the last few years Rye has been building up a fan base after the recording of his first EP, IMPACT.

A portion of the sales from these EPs is being donated towards Welsh Women's Aid and West Wales Welsh Women's Aid.

Rye has played numerous gigs and has supported acts such asThe Skints, Gentlemen's Dub Club, The Blims, Goldie Lookin' Chain, and performed on the main stage at Nozstock Festival before Chas and Dave.

Rye said: “By performing many gigs I have built up an excitable and supportive following, enabling me to put on a successful album launch event. I have also just finished writing a song for local, internet sensation "My Gran" and have gained great exposure for that.”
