First Model Railway and Vintage Marketplace Day at the National Wool Museum
3:32pm Friday 25th October 2013 in What's on
FOR the first time the National Wool Museum is holding a model railway fun day and vintage marketplace on Saturday 2 November from 10am until 3pm, which will include models of stations, trains and other diaramas and a talk and film on the Cardi Bach, the line between Cardigan and Whitland until 1962. The vintage marketplace will include a selection of vintage stalls which will compliment the nostalgic theme of the day.
Also on the day will be craft activities for children on the Art Cart and opportunity for children to have a go on a model railway and Thomas the Tank. On sale in the vintage marketplace will be 50s furniture, including shabby chic furniture; vintage garden tools; Welsh blankets made into cushion, bags and decorations; and equestrian materials.
