The Attic Players present A Twist in the Tale
3:36pm Thursday 29th August 2013 in What's on
THE Attic Players have embarked on what must be one of their most ambitious projects in a while, with their latest production rather cryptically called 'Twist in the Tale'.
The idea is a result of several members of the company producing interesting short plays over the past few months, and realising that between them a burgeoning writing talent has been waiting to be utilised.
The authors are Martyn Buck, who is a new member of the group, Heddwen Cadwallader, who has been seen in many Attic productions, including 'Allo Allo' and the latest play, 'Five Blue Haired Ladies on a Green Park Bench', Elaine Thompson and Suzanne Munn, who co-wrote 'Not Snow White and the Seven Dwarves', and last but most definitely not least, Charlotte Husnjak, who is a member of JAGS, the junior section of the Attic Players.
The variety of material means that there is something for everyone in the group of seven short plays, from comedy to tragedy, the supernatural and crime, but they all have one thing in common, and that is the twist in the end of the story, hence the title.
The Players hope you will enjoy the diversity of this production and support their adventurous spirit by booking your seat now. Remaining show dates are September 5, 6 and 7. Doors open at 7pm.
Tickets are £6 and can be booked online at www.atticplayers.org.uk or purchased in person from The Bay Tree in Newcastle Emlyn. For more information call 01239 711856.
