Good moaning everyone! No, that isn't a mistake, just a hint to the latest shenanigans on offer from the Attic Players! This year they are taking a break from tradition and instead of the pantomime the Players are excited to bring you the stage version of the favourite TV series, 'Allo 'Allo by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft.

Confidently directed by Elaine Thompson, this production is full of laughs and some adult humour, and has had the cast laughing throughout rehearsals. Zere are some truly superbe French accents, nearly distiguishable from the vunderful German ones, and plenty of knockwurst sausage washed down with gallons of the best French Champagne.

Sue and Barry Davies are a memorable Edith and René, and would like to reassure the audience that any resemlance to themselves as a couple, and their characters is purely coincidental! The cast list is too long to mention individually, in fact just about every member of the company is involved, and you will see new faces as well as all plenty of familiar ones.

If you enjoyed the original TV series you will love the experience of seeing the characters come to life on stage, and if you are too young to remember it, then now is a great time to catch up on what must be one of the funniest plots conceived by the authors.

Suffice to say it concerns René, the hapless cafe owner in war torn France, and his wife Edith, as they struggle to keep for themselves a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis and kept in a sausage in their cellar. Add to the mix two British airman who are hoping to be repatriated, with the help of the Resistance, a wireless disguised as a cockatoo, and several Hitler impersonators including blow up dummy versions, and you can begin to feel the chaos that might ensue. Can René, with all his quick thinking, manage to save the day?
