Newport links .The Boxing day bash was played in cold but dry conditions and with some good scores.
First was Steve Jenkins with 38 points ,2nd with 37 pts Richard Leyshon ,3d with 33 Viv Griffiths.
The Monthly medal was cancelled as the course was a little frosty in places.We then played a Fiddle up stableford comp.
In 1st place with43 points Viv Griffiths,2nd with 41 pts Richard Bell ,3d also with41 pts Joe Hodgson.
Well done to all who braved the COOL conditions.Happy New Year to all members and all readers.Viv G
