A very successful sports and cricket match was held at the park and it was nice to see so many present on such a lovely summers evening. The talent show for under 12 year olds was again a successful event with Cllr and Mrs Howells the presidents judging. Thanks to Mr Aneurin Thomas form the school and Mr Peter Austin for their help on the evening.

Special thanks to everyone who helped with the carnival and made sure that it was a success this year again. Events were held throughout the week but the highlights were on Saturday when we had everyone dressed up and joining in the procession through the village and entering the park. The evening ended with a disco and fancy dress at the Porth a very successful day.

September 2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the admission of about 65 pupils to Llandysul Grammar School in September 1949.

Llandysul Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding its July PACT meeting on 9 July 2009 at 7.00pm in Neuadd Tysul / Tysul Hall.

A very interesting deanery meeting was held at Llandysul church hall on Tuesday June 23rd when members from all churches attended a talk given by Mr John Winton tourism office for the church who gave a very interesting talk on the way to leave the churches open in this tourisim area open to welcome visitors and so many people enjoy entering churches and see the beautiful curches in this area. The evening ended with questions and a chat over a cup of tea.
