A Pembrokeshire leisure centre has been awarded top marks for its good practice and management.
Crymych Leisure Centre has been awarded a QUEST Award – the UK quality scheme for sport and leisure.
It’s the second time the leisure centre, which is now judged to be one of the best in the country, has been given a QUEST award.
Staff were presented with their new award recently by Councillor Huw George, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People. Darren Bowen, Crymych Leisure Centre Manager said, "Customer satisfaction is close to the heart for all staff. We take a pride in the facility’s appearance and in the service we offer.
"Since first gaining the QUEST award two years ago, staff have worked hard to improve the weaknesses highlighted in the last report.
"This work has proved successful and our new score will put us second in Wales and in the top 5% of leisure facilities in the UK," he said.
"Staff have shown a real commitment to improvement – they have worked tirelessly to ensure that our customers get the best possible service, for the best possible value."
