J.J. Morris report a new record price in the cull ewe section, when a Suffolk ewe sold for £142. With 358 cull ewes forward, and the majority being Welsh x, they sold to an overall average of £63.50. Store hoggets also produced a blistering trade, with the best topping at £91. With over 100 Ewes & Lambs entered and quality being very mixed, a fast trade was evident and the best selling for £122, and averaging £81.
