The chairperson opened the meeting announcing the passing of Mr C Ray who had donated monies during the years.

Matters arising Village Hall Rebuild: There had been a small meeting of the rebuild committee Mr Phil Evans who had originally built the Youth Club has been asked to submit figures on the new extension to the Youth Club to give a realistic estimate.

Fund Raising: Apologies from Mrs Swann she had not been able to order bags due to illness and bereavement. Help was requested for assistance for the Talent Competition on the 27th August. Advertising needs to be distributed also a piece in the Tivy Side.

Spring cleaning: On Hold.

Pathway to beach: This has been passed to the community council.

Constitution: Mr Jones has contacted the Charity Commissioner and the booklet the Essential Trustee has been distributed, the scheme was the same as the one held by the committee, maybe this needs updating. Karen was asked to search the web for a more modern constitution. Mr Jones questioned the accounts, Mr Evans said detailed accounts were sent to the Charity Commissioner every year and so far he has had no comeback.

Outside lights: Mr Evans and MR Edwards to look into this.

Abandoned cars: Mr Evans had spoken to the police and was told there was nothing they could do. Mrs Evans was asked to write to A Evans to ask for advice.

Treasurer report: was as follows; Receipts during April: £1118 Payments during April £ 384 Balance at end of April £5308.46 High interest a/c £24,042.51 Rebuild a/c £19360.78 + £20K bond maturing in June.

Correspondence: There was none.

A.O.B: Mrs Sparrow was concerned about the wild orchids growing opposite her house, Mr Evans said Mr G Owen the maintenance contractor was aware. The trap door needs bolts fitted so they can be firmly put in place. The swing in the children’s play area was missing a piece. Mr Evans said that Mrs V Owen would be aware of the damage and she does a weekly inspection. There was paramount skipping on the safewath to school, Gethin to report to highway, the H&S dept Mr Ray could be remembered by a plaque on one of the seats. Mrs McKay to get in touch with his daughter Mrs Val Davies.

The disabled toilets was full of brushes and cleaning items. Gethin volunteered to have a cupboard placed in the doctors surgery once the organ has been disposed of.
