Minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted.

Matters arising: Village Hall rebuild: No meetings, no drawings of alternative build at Youth Club were the establishments too high? The car park there had been telephone meeting with Ms Marshall, who was keen to have a parking meter and were firm on the resolution to alter deeds the Chairman had been advised by several solutions that this is not allowed by the charity commission. The committee’s feeling is still the same and are not willing to move position. She was polite and good natured but was still adamant. Planning application was still going ahead maybe a result in May. We had been advised that a pay and display requires two people to police it due to health and safety rules, unfortunately this is not viable. Doors and ears are always open, but there are many disadvantages against the parking meter as experienced in Newcastle Emlyn e.g. super glue vandalism etc.

Fund Raising: As Mrs K Swan was not available to comment regarding the bags. Mrs Tucker stated that there would be a duck race, the Carnival would be held on 6th August, the Talent competition the 27nd of August.

Spring cleaning: This would be left until further notice.

Pathway to beach: This has been put into the hands of the Community Council who are to report back, item to be left on agenda.

Cooker: No longer available.

Treasurers report: Receipts during March: £629.00 Payments during March: £384.00 Balance at end of March: £5278.46.

Correspondence: There was none.

A.O.B: Mr G Jones offered to obtain copies of constitution (scheme) from the charity commission. The Carnival Committee would meeting to discuss the way ahead. There would be a coffee morning on Saturday. Jan and Hywel will be attending a meeting regarding the possibility of a luncheon club. There was a problem with the lights outside. Abandoned cars in car park. Legality to be sought on removing some.
