DAVIES Eigen Peacefully at Yr Hafod Residential Care Home, Cardigan on Monday January 23, 2017, Eigen Davies of Waundella, Clos-Llyn-y-Felin, Cardigan aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Elgar Evans and T. Emrys Davies, much loved mother of Ryland and Stephen, and dear grandmother of Meredith. Public funeral service on Wednesday, February 8 at Parc Gwyn Crematoirum, Narberth at 11.30am. Family flowers only, but donations, if desired, to the Friends of Yr Hafod c/o Mrs Lowri Evans of Colin Phillips and Daughters Funeral Directors, 4 Morgan Street, Cardigan. Tel: 01239 621192.

My sincere condolences to the Evans family on the passing of your dear mother Eigen. Mothers are and have been such a blessing in our lives, providing for us, giving comfort, and support and the odd cuff round the ear when required. It takes a special person to be a good mom, but it takes an even more special person to be the mom of a great child and my dear friend Ryland, You are proof of your mother's great character. I cherish the times I spent in the company of Eigen when she came to visit, and know that I am all the better for it. Please take comfort in knowing that she was well respected and loved by those who were fortunate enough to know her..God bless!
