IT’s going to be the biggest Cardigan ever seen in Aberteifi!

The Aberteifi knitted Cardigan is already sparking a lot of interest.

Community artist Lisa Helleir who is in charge of the project will be at the Guildhall photo exhibition next week from 10am to 4pm.

The Heritage Lottery funded project will be officially launched later this spring, but in the meantime Lisa will be on hand to explain what’s going on.

“You don’t have to be able to knit to join in - we’ll find something for you to do,” said Lisa.

The giant cardigan will depict a historical collage of the townscape, river and landscape around Cardigan town and will include mini projects for all ages and abilities.

Workshops will be held at the Guildhall on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm where Lisa will be on hand to explain the project.
