Hwyl Fawr Frank Lloyd Wright is a seven hour performance that will take place on the Prince Charles Quay in Cardigan on the 8th June 2010. The event is part of the town’s 900th anniversary celebrations and reflects on Cardigan’s maritime heritage and history of emigration. The 8th June is the birth date of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It is believed that Frank Lloyd Wright’s mother, Anna Lloyd Jones, emigrated to New York on a boat that left Cardigan in 1844.
